These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website ottorastudio.com (the "Site") and the studio, booking, podcast, consultation, and subscription services (collectively, the "Services") provided by Ottora Studio ("Ottora Studio", "we", "us", or "our"), a business registered in the State of Qatar Commercial Registration No. 239386, located at Zone 56, Street 995, Building 212, Floor 1, Unit 91, Doha, Qatar.
By creating an account, making a booking, or otherwise using the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Definitions
- "Booking" means a reservation of a studio room, equipment, or service for a specified date and time.
- "Client", "you" means any individual or entity that uses the Services.
- "Session" means the period of studio time reserved under a Booking.
- "Subscription" / "Retainer" means a recurring podcast package arrangement.
2. Eligibility & Accounts
2.1 You must be at least 18 years of age, or have the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, to make a Booking.
2.2 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Information you provide must be accurate and kept up to date.
3. Bookings, Rates & Payment
3.1 Rates. Studio rates are displayed at the time of booking and are charged in Qatari Riyals (QAR). Applicable add-ons (such as operators and additional cameras) and discounts are calculated and shown before payment.
3.2 Setup time is included in the booked time. The Session duration you reserve and pay for is inclusive of your own setup, preparation, and pack-down time. Access to the room begins at the start of your booked slot and ends at its conclusion; please plan your setup and teardown within the reserved period.
3.3 Payment. Payments are processed securely through the Sadad payment gateway. A Booking is only confirmed once payment has been successfully completed. Where payment is not completed, the reserved slot is held for a limited period (approximately 15 minutes) and is then automatically released.
3.4 Camera & equipment availability. Additional cameras and equipment are drawn from a shared, studio-wide pool and are allocated on a first-confirmed basis. Where demand exceeds availability, we may need to source equipment externally or contact you to arrange alternatives.
4. Studio Use, Conduct & Content Policy
4.1 Modest dress standard. In accordance with the laws, customs, and cultural norms of the State of Qatar, Ottora Studio maintains a modest dress standard on its premises. We do not provide studio rental or services to any person wearing revealing or immodest clothing, and we reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse or terminate service to any person whose attire does not meet this standard. No refund is due where service is refused or terminated on this basis.
4.2 No abusive or prohibited content. The Studio may not be used to create, record, produce, or distribute any content that is abusive, defamatory, harassing, obscene, hateful, violent, discriminatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise unlawful under the laws of the State of Qatar, or that infringes the rights of any third party. We reserve the right to refuse, stop, or terminate any Session involving such content, without refund, and to report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities.
4.3 Care of premises and equipment. You are responsible for the studio space and equipment during your Session and will be liable for any loss or damage caused beyond fair wear and tear. Please leave the space in the condition in which you found it.
4.4 Conduct. You agree to behave respectfully toward staff, operators, other clients, and the premises. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service for abusive, threatening, or disruptive behaviour, without refund.
4.5 Safety & compliance. You must comply with all reasonable studio instructions, health and safety requirements, and applicable laws while on the premises.
5. Cancellations, Refunds & Rescheduling
5.1 Booking cancellations. Refunds for cancelled Bookings are calculated based on the notice given before the Session start time:
- 48 hours or more before the Session: 100% refund.
- 24 to 48 hours before the Session: 50% refund.
- Less than 24 hours before the Session: no refund.
5.2 Rescheduling. Bookings may be rescheduled up to 3 hours before the Session start time, subject to availability. Within 3 hours of the Session, rescheduling is not available.
5.3 No-shows. Failure to attend a Session without valid cancellation is treated as a no-show and is non-refundable.
5.4 Refunds, where due, are returned to the original payment method and may take several business days to process.
6. Podcast Packages & Subscriptions
6.1 Request and approval. Podcast packages operate on a request-and-approve basis. Submitting a request does not create a binding booking until Ottora Studio confirms and approves the arrangement.
6.2 Auto-renewal. Where a retainer subscription is active with auto-renew enabled, sessions are booked automatically each cycle in accordance with your agreed pattern. You may disable auto-renew at any time from your account.
6.3 Pausing. Subscriptions may be paused with at least 7 days' advance notice, once per 6-month period, for a maximum of 4 weeks. No charge applies during an approved pause.
6.4 Subscription cancellation. Refunds on cancellation of a subscription depend on the notice given before the next renewal date, and unused prepaid months may be refunded in whole or in part as set out at the point of cancellation. The current cycle may be forfeited depending on timing.
7. Consultations
Consultations are provided to help scope content and production needs. Information you provide during a consultation is used to prepare a proposal and to contact you, and is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 Your content. You retain ownership of the recordings and content you create during your Sessions, subject to full payment. You are solely responsible for ensuring you hold all necessary rights, licences, and consents for any material, participants, or third-party content featured.
8.2 Our content. The Site, branding, text, graphics, and layout are owned by Ottora Studio and may not be copied or reused without permission.
9. Liability
9.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ottora Studio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Services.
9.2 Our total liability in connection with any Booking shall not exceed the amount paid by you for that Booking.
9.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ottora Studio against any claims, damages, or costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your content, or your use of the Services.
11. Force Majeure
Ottora Studio is not liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to power failures, equipment faults, natural events, or governmental action.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Qatar.
